Supported Learning

Welcome to Supported Learning

We offer an exciting range of courses for learners aged 25 and over who have learning difficulties or disabilities. Our creative courses will help you to develop a range of new skills, as well as improving your confidence and giving you the opportunity to meet new friends.

All our courses are for 10 weeks and run termly.  Terms 2 and 3 build on the skills from the previous term and most learners enrol for all three terms.  However, it is also possible to study for just one term or to join in January or April, subject to there being available spaces on the course.

Before you enrol on a supported learning course you need to come and meet our team, so we can assess your needs and ensure we have the right support in place for you. This may include in-class support and workshops as well as accessibility and practical adjustments.

To book a meeting, please call 020 7255 4752 or email learnerservices@wmcollege.ac.uk

What Our Students Say

I feel I’ve been given a chance to better myself, and it’s all thanks to the staff and students in LLDD at WM College. The teachers have been fantastic with their calmness and patience and I feel I am now able to progress onto a mainstream course.

Supported Learning ICT – LDD Beginners Student.

The creative approach to teaching has really enabled me to push myself.

I now feel more confident in using different approaches in English. Working in small, supportive groups has really helped build my confidence.
