During this Level 3 qualification, you will learn ideas and processes that underpin professional practice in all the creative industries and build a strong portfolio of work, as well as having the opportunity to display your work publicly.
Find out more about our Foundation Art and Design Diploma and explore our studios and facilities by booking one of our Talk and Tour Events through Eventbrite.
Applications for 2024 are open and will close on 28th June 2024.
Process
Please apply via the APPLY NOW button below. This will first take you through our enrolment process, followed by an application form asking for your basic details and a personal statement.
We will then contact you via email within 2 weeks, offering a face-to-face interview.
You will be asked to bring a portfolio to interview, you are not required to send one in advance.
This can be physical portfolio or you can present your work digitally on a laptop or tablet which, ideally, you should bring with you.
Your portfolio should include final work as well as its development. Include some images of sketchbook pages (or sketchbooks) including research and annotation. Your Portfolio should not be larger than 20 pages and should reflect your current practice.
We recommend you bring in images of large or 3D work, instead of bringing it to interview.
This course is very popular and is frequently oversubscribed, therefore we recommend you apply early.
Any application received after the 28th June 2024 will go on to our waiting list. You may not be offered an interview or place if you apply after this date.
