Careers & Employment Advice

All WM College learners can receive guidance and support with job searching, completing application forms, improving CVs and receive tips about essential interview skills as well as advice regarding progression opportunities. 

We have an Employability Coach and representative of the National Careers Service available Monday-Friday, who provide information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work. 

You can book your 1 hour face to face or online support sessions in: 

  • Writing CVs, Cover Letters  
  • Completing Applications 
  • Interview preparation 
  • Searching for jobs or courses 
  • Identifying transferrable skill

All face to face session take place in the Library at Crowndale Road.

Mondays 12 – 6pm 

Wednesdays 10am – 2pm 

Fridays 10am  – 12pm  

Tuesdays 11am – 4pm  

Thursdays 11am – 7pm  (online)

If you would like advice about your next steps our team of advisors can help you consider your options for further study and help you look for courses and learning providers. If you are currently studying on a Level 3 diploma course at the College and are applying to university, we can offer you information and guidance on applying to university and can check your personal statement.
