Jewellery: Casting Workshop (Mixed Level)

Course Description

A 2-day introduction to Delft Clay Casting and cuttlefish casting for beginners or returning students. You can bring small objects such as toys, trinkets or natural materials, which we will then reproduce in bronze, pewter or silver. Your tutor will have plenty of objects for you to work with as well. However, if you want to work in silver, please bring your own (scrap or hallmarked items to recycle) or buy "sterling silver casting grain" from cookson gold. Recommended quantity is 20 grams or more.

Teachers are supported to ensure their materials are inclusive to meet all learners needs. Provision of assistive equipment is available and access support can be provided through reasonable adjustments, subject to an assessment by the ALS team and/or the Disability Officer.
