What you will get out of the course: An understanding of the toolset, workspace and Photoshop workflow. The ability to edit and enhance existing imagery. The ability to use layers confidently to combine and collage images. The ability to use filters and special effects to add creative touches. An understanding of how to output artwork for print and the web
Teaching and Learning Methods
Each week there will be a demonstration of a particular aspect of the software. This is then followed by an exercise, allowing for some individual tutorial support. Periodically there will be forum sessions were we will look at each others work to discuss different aspects and the process. Asking questions and commenting is encouraged at all times. Resources used within each lesson are available for learners on our online learning platform, iLearn. There is no formal homework, however, your tutor may discuss ideas with you individually to help extend your study and for ongoing independent projects. Your tutor will also recommend exhibitions, gigs or websites for you to visit to enrich your study.
