Course Content
In the fun and relaxed workshop we will learn how to take a drawing and use simple free 3d design tools to extrude it into a 3D model. We will then learn the fundamentals of 3d printing through preparing our models to print on our 3d printer. Leaners will leave with a 3D printed piece.
Teaching and Learning Methods
This course focuses on following a tutor lead project with one-to-one support. There will be presentations and demonstrations on the key theory and techniques, and then learners will develop their skill through a set project. Technical handouts will be provided in paper form and electronically. There is no formal homework, however, you may wish to extend your study by working on your project independently between classes.
