Daytime and Evening Teacher Training Courses at WMC-The Camden College, London
‘Training the Trainer’ is a two day (10 hour) course designed to help you gain ideas for effective facilitation and managing groups. This course is for anyone, in any role, who trains other employees in their organisation, or if you are thinking of becoming a trainer and want to gain confidence in planning and facilitating the training. It can also be suitable as a refresher course for an experienced trainer. The course will provide the participants with an introduction to the concepts of a systematic approach to training, building the skills, knowledge and abilities that are required to be an effective trainer. You are required to attend both days of this course.
This course is ideal if you are thinking about teaching adults and need to find out more about the profession. You may already have a profession or skill that you would like to teach others, but need to learn the basics with the view to a more formal qualification. This five week course gives you a practical, hands on taste of planning and delivering a short piece of teaching to your peers and should give you the confidence to progress onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
This course provides a structured introduction to teaching as a step towards licensed (teacher) practitioner status. The course is aimed at people who come from a variety of vocational backgrounds who want a practical hands-on introduction to teaching; you may already be working in a teaching or support role. You will demonstrate your teaching skills through two assessed micro teaching exercises.
Please note that the concessionary rate does not apply to this course, however, you may be able to qualify for the Learner Financial Support Fund (see our page on how to pay).
