Improve your career, life and wellbeing this September

WM College is committed to supporting adult learners to thrive within the community, gain employment and improve their personal wellbeing. Whoever you are, whatever you want to achieve, we have a course for you.

With an increased demand in the workforce, across many sectors, WM College is focused on helping adults gain qualifications to progress into employment or higher education. New for 2023, our ‘Level – Up’ programme has been created for those who are Level 2 qualified or have relevant experience to boost career progression with Level 3 courses, many of which are free. Courses range from Home-Based Childcare, Teaching Assistant Training, Certificate in IT Skills to AAT Certificate in Accounting. All Level 3 courses provide learners with a recognisable qualification to set up their own business, seek employment or study at university.

Not only does WM College aim to improve learners’ employability, we also provide courses that will help with wellbeing and everyday life. This year, we aim to challenge numerical anxiety and boost adults’ confidence with everyday maths. We will be rolling out the government backed ‘Multiply’ scheme to enhance mathematical skills among those who think they “can’t do maths”. These short courses will focus on incorporating simple everyday tasks, from budgeting, to cooking and household measurements in a fun and accessible way.

We believe education should be accessible for all, especially with the current cost of living. Therefore, we remain dedicated to making courses affordable for the community with many discounted or free. To help spread the cost of courses, we also offer a payment in instalments option.

Find out more about courses and enrolling for the autumn term at our next Open Event on Saturday 10th September. Our team of expert tutors will be on hand to take you through the courses on offer and historical experts providing tours and talks about the history and architecture of WM College, as part of Open House London.

Principal, Helen Hammond said: “We look forward to welcoming new and returning learners. Whether you are looking to improve job prospects or indulge in a creative passion, we have a course for you. We’d love to see members of our community at our next Open Event where a whole team will be on hand to offer advice and guidance to all visitors.”
