A Great Location
Situated in Camden Town, WMC – The Camden College is at the heart of one of the most culturally exciting, diverse and dynamic London boroughs. Just a few steps away from Mornington Crescent tube, close to St Pancras International, Kings Cross and Euston stations, the Crowndale Road centre benefits from a fantastic location and is surrounded by some of London’s most attractive mini villages and is an area that houses the highest concentration of media professionals in London (higher than Hackney and Shoreditch) to become London’s new hub for creativity. We also have a lovely Victorian red brick site in Kentish Town.
Koko nightclub, the British Library, Camden Lock Market, and the Roundhouse are around the corner as are lots of creative shops, pubs, bars, restaurants, clubs, music venues, drama and art venues. Kings Cross is the largest area of urban redevelopment in Europe, only 10 minutes away and is becoming London’s newest cultural scene. With its six tube lines, it is also the biggest interchange on London underground.
So Camden is only for tourists? Think twice! The borough has become London’s new hub for creativity with international companies like French Connection, ASOS, Hugo Boss, Getty Images, Nicole Farhi and MTV choosing to base their headquarters here. In recent years, the area has attracted a large number of digital media agencies, graduate companies and start-ups.
Thanks to the convenient transport links and great cultural scene in the locality, the College attracts learners from mainly Camden but many learners travel across London to study at WMC – The Camden College.
