Join us for a fun and interactive workshop to learn about a range of LGBT Poets and their approaches, and to have a go at writing a poem too! No writing experience necessary, but please bring your favourite inspirational poem to share.

The workshop will be run by poet Maria Jastrzębska, reading from her latest book and fresh from the run of her Live Literature Project SnowQ, on tour in the UK during February 2020. https://newwritingsouth.com/events/snow-q-maria-jastrzebska

Maria Jastrzębska is a Polish-British poet, feminist, editor, translator and playwright. She has published four full-length volumes of poetry, most recently The True Story of Cowboy Hat and Ingénue (Cinnamon Press) and two pamphlets. She co-founded Queer Writing South and co-edited Queer in Brighton anthology. She regularly contributes to a range of journals and anthologies, including the Los Angeles Review, Poetry London, Poetry Review, Poetry Wales, Shearsman and Wretched Strangers (Boiler House Press).
