On this course, students will be composing their own music or composing music with a given idea/track from the teacher. Every student will be encouraged to express themselves by composing in any style he/she prefers (e.g. classical, modern, jazz, minimal, serial, ethnic) and will be taught compositional techniques, music theory and other information relevant to the chosen style. Counterpoint, harmony, form, and orchestration will be taught when applicable.
