On this course you will work on developing your own imagination and confidence through voice and physical presence in order to explore your acting potential. It also focuses on the practical skills to work with other people and to help encourage the creative potential for effective character and scene work. There will be a mixture of improvisation and play-text work, technique workshops and drama games.

The focus of this course is finding ways to develop and show ?character? as an actor; whether this is a well-known character from a famous play, or one from a lesser-known script, a character from your imagination, or someone you have observed who has inspired you. So where do you start? Come and find out. The course will adopt a workshop style format and will consist of improvisation, script work and technical approaches supported by plays from Greek tragedy.
