The course will cover; how to set up and operate an Industrial sewing machine, develop a wide range of garment and stitch samples, and learn pattern language, cutting techniques and garment construction techniques.

Explore traditional and experimental painting techniques on glass using kiln-fired glass paint, enamel, and silver stain. Experiment with mark-making including line, shading, and texture. Working on personal projects you will be guided to translate designs from drawings, sketchbooks, and photos.

This one-day beginners course will introduce key jewellery / metalworking skills through the process of designing and making your own silver earrings. Learn how to saw shapes from silver sheet, to refine shapes and to connect multiple elements � all materials are included in the course fee.

This informal and supportive class is an opportunity to work with a life model with the tuition and support of an experienced tutor. This course is suitable for beginners who wish to learn the basics of life drawing and how to experiment with different drawing techniques using with pastels. There will be an introduction with a warm-up of brief poses and then one or two sustained poses for the rest of the session. You can follow activities set by the tutor or use the opportunity to work independently from the model.
