Illustrator (Beginner/Intermediate)

On this course you will learn basic skills on how to use the powerful Adobe Illustrator CC software. Adobe Illustrator is a program used by both artists and graphic designers to create vector images. These images will then be used for company logos, promotional uses or even personal work, both in print and digital form. Adobe illustrator is typically used to create illustrations, charts, graphs, logos, diagrams, cartoons of real photographs, and more. While the program may be difficult to understand initially, the final product will be well worth the learning curve.

Introduction to InDesign (Mixed Level)

This course is intended for people with no previous experience of InDesign or those who have used the product but require the official training on how to use the basics of the application in the best way. Ideally suited for people wanting to edit existing InDesign documents or those wishing to create very simple newsletters or flyers. You will familiarise with the basics of print design and layout, using Adobe InDesign as the professional’s choice. You will learn the basics of working with text, images and building documents in a correct and optimised way. In this, one of our signature courses, you will work with some of the tools and features to create eye-catching printed documents using Adobe InDesign.

Make a Business Card Using Illustrator (Mixed Level)

Whether you’re branding your own company or you’ve recently become self-employed, you need business cards to effectively advertise yourself. Photoshop (Intermediate/Advanced)

On this next step course you will improve and add to your existing Photoshop skills. Learn to use some of the creative features of PhotoShop to create multi-layered collages, original artwork and graphics using your own photos, drawings and found images. You will be able to work on a personal or set project.

Photoshop for Beginners

On this beginner’s course you will learn how to use Photoshop to enhance, modify and prepare your images for print or web. You will learn how to use image adjustments, selection tools, retouching tools and layers.

Photoshop for Graphic Designers (Mixed Level)

This course is open to beginners and improvers, you don’t need any previous experience as full instruction and guidance is given on how to use this software. You will be introduced to Adobe Photoshop CC image manipulation software working through the features in detail starting from the very basics. The course is ideal for those starting off in using Photoshop for graphic design and useful for learners looking to improve their skills and ensure they are using the programme as efficiently as possible.

Photoshop for Photographers (Mixed Level)   NEW

On this course you will develop your Photoshop skills for photographers.

You will learn the most essential skills: cropping, improving exposure, converting to black and white, thinking creatively with filters, retouching, publishing photos online and in print, and also more complex features of the software. Plus, learn how Photoshop fits into a modern digital photography workflow, how to organize and present your photos for the web or a gallery, and how to set up the preferences and workspace so the software works most efficiently for you.

Podcasting: A guide to Launching (Beginners/Intermediate)  NEW

On this introductory course, you will learn some of the processes and techniques involved in making and launching a Podcast. That includes making stand alone programs and a miniseries, using social media to grow and sustain an audience. Alongside this you will learn how to edit using Adobe Addition, use sound recording equipment to record interviews and prepare for making content. You will design, record and edit your own projects to take away with you.

You will be using WordPress as a tool to build a website and create blogging content. WordPress is used to run around 30% of world’s websites (simple and complex websites, e-shops, CMSs) so learning how to use wordpress.com will be beneficial to anyone who would like to design their own websites or create blogs.
