Presentation Skills and Customer Care

Course Description

This course will give you a solid foundation in customer-centred presentation and communication skills and awareness to the importance of customer care. The course will empower you with the confidence, perspective and tools to communicate and enage effectively with customers.

Location: Camden

Course Requirements

There are no specific prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they?ve already achieved an Entry Level 3 qualification.

Course Content

The course covers the essentials of effective presentation from structure to body-language, an introduction to a presentation software (PowerPoint) and the knowledge and practical skills you need to improve your customer service skills, from identifying customers? needs, developing your listening and communication skills, and to handling simulated customer complaints.

Teaching and Learning Methods

The tutor will use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles to support the learners in achieving their goals. The teaching on this course will involve lectures, discussions, lots of practical activities and role playing.

Assessment

There will be continual assessment during the course as well as end-of-unit teacher-devised tasks to meet the needs of the learning group and to cover all the criteria.

Additional Learning Support

Additional Learning Support (ALS) is available for this course. ALS is subject to an assessment with a trained member of staff and support may include one or more of the following: support in the classroom, out of class workshops such as English, ICT and maths and specialist support for dyslexia. Provision of assistive equipment is also available and access support can be provided through reasonable adjustments with our Disability Officer.
