This course is for small business entrepreneurs who want to learn how to use ?QuickBooks? to manage their accounts. This on-line accounting software will help you to produce invoices and make and accept payments. This will enable you to better control your cash flow and make completion of tax returns easier

Course Content
You will learn how to list your products, services, and customers; how to produce and send invoices; how to pay bills; how to generate and record expenses; how to create sales receipts and estimates.

We want you to achieve to the very best of your ability at WMC. To make this happen we offer both learning and personal support by specialist staff tailored to meet your specific needs.
The teaching and learning and assessment methods used on the course will include: on-line learning, demonstration, individual timed tasks and directed self-study.
Resources used within each lesson are available for learners on our online learning platform, iLearn.
Independent Learning
In addition to the classes you will be expected to do some light reading, complete all classwork and homework set.
Assessment
Assessment is continuous and takes place throughout the programme by a variety of methods including practical online assessments and written tasks.
Qualification you will achieve
There is no formal qualification attached to this course but you can receive a Certificate of Completion from the college on request.

Additional Learning Support
Teachers are supported to ensure their materials are inclusive to meet all learners needs. Provision of assistive equipment is available and access support can be provided through reasonable adjustments, subject to an assessment by the ALS team and/or the Disability Officer. Digital Learning support is available in the Learning Centre at our Camden site. Careers advice and guidance is also available to all learners.
Additional Costs
WM College provides all the basic materials and equipment you will need to complete the course. Your tutor will advise you where you can buy materials or equipment to extend your study, should you wish. The College also provides additional financial support through the Discretionary Learner Support Fund (DLSF); however there are eligibility criteria that applies. Please refer to the DLSF policy which can be found at the main reception.
