If you have a medical condition or any health concerns, or haven't exercised for a long time, speak to your GP before you start this course. Prior knowledge or experience is not required. Loose, comfortable clothing (stretchy) is best.
You will learn various gentle yoga postures that includes stretching, twisting and leaning movements, simple flowing sequences, and yoga breathing techniques, meditation, and ways of relaxation, all with the aid of a chair.
Teaching and Learning Methods
Follow instructor led movements and practice them on your own and with other students with instructor feedback so you will be able to run-through them independently out of class.
You will receive ongoing, regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive way.

Additional Learning Support
Teachers are supported to ensure their materials are inclusive to meet all learners needs. Provision of assistive equipment is available and access support can be provided through reasonable adjustments, subject to an assessment by the ALS team and/or the Disability Officer.
