Affordable Adult Education

At WM College we are passionate about ensuring adults from all backgrounds have access to education. Whether you want to up-skill and improve job prospects, retrain in another sector, or simply invest in a passion, we have an affordable course for you.

With the current cost of living crisis we are dedicated to making courses affordable for the community with many discounted or free, and to help spread the cost we also offer a payment in instalments option. But that’s not all, to help as many people as possible during these times we have implemented several new approaches and initiatives.

To help those struggling with money management we have developed several new courses such as Award in Managing Your Money Level 1 and a free Introduction to Money Management Workshop. These courses aim to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to manage personal finances, anticipate future needs and develop an increased awareness of saving and borrowing money, plus a range of financial products and services such as savings accounts and loans.

New for 2023, our ‘Level – Up’ programme has been created for those who are Level 2 qualified or have relevant experience to boost career progression with Level 3 courses, many of which are free. Courses range from Home-Based ChildcareTeaching Assistant TrainingCertificate in IT Skills to AAT Certificate in Accounting. All Level 3 courses provide learners with a recognisable qualification to set up their own business, seek employment or study at university. Our free employability coaching service also continues to support learners looking for work with guidance on CV writing, application forms, interview preparations and job searching.

To help bridge the ‘digital divide’ between those able to access the equipment required for learning and those who can’t, we have invested in several Chromebook computers and data dongles to boost internet access for our students to loan.

If you’re looking to improve your career, life and wellbeing get in touch or join us at one of our Open Events where our friendly team will be on hand to discuss all your options.
