Introduction to Bookkeeping

This course will give you an introduction and insight into the world of Bookkeeping. The recording of financial transactions is part of the process of accounting in business. Transactions include purchases, sales, receipts and payments by an individual or an organisation /corporation. You will familiarise yourself with the language of accounting and learn a range of basic bookkeeping techniques.

Introduction to Sage Accountancy

This Course is aimed at those seeking a first understanding in the practical use of computerised accounts. You will receive an introduction to the world of accounting. Learn its terminology and how computerised accounting can work alongside manual accounts. You will discuss the different accounting software available but you will be working with Sage 50.

Introduction to Sage Payroll

This Course will give you an introduction to Computerised Payroll and help develop the skills and knowledge to be able to enter an employee’s gross pay from given basic personal and contractual information and do a payroll run. The skills gained on this course will help those looking for employment as a wages clerk or payroll assistant.

Sage Accounting Level 1

This is the course for you if you are seeking a first qualification in the practical use of computerised accounts with a view to entry to employment or to gain skills using this application in your current role.

This course will provide a comprehensive introduction to Sage Financial Controller including basics of bookkeeping, invoices and credit notes, and other cash and credit transactions.

SAGE Accounting Level 2

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to Sage Financial Controller including the basics of bookkeeping, invoices and credit notes, cash and credit transactions, use of different tax rates, wage journals and trial balance preparation.

Aimed at learners seeking broad experience in using computerised accounts software, it enhances their competence allowing them to use the application independently for routine activities.

Designed to meet the needs of candidates who work or want to work in job roles such as accounting technicians, accounts or finance clerks or private practice accountants.
