Student Services provide a high quality, impartial and confidential service to help students get the best from their studies.

Term times: Monday to Friday, 9.00-19.30. Saturday: 9.00-17.00

Supporting all students
ADVICE & GUIDANCE AND ENROLLING YOU ON THE RIGHT COURSE
Student Services will provide you with impartial advice & guidance about courses, including details about eligibility to enrol as a student, entitlement to reduced fees, availability of places and facilities available at the college. They will enrol you and give you an ID card. It can be quicker to enrol online!
LEARNING SUPPORT
We are committed to supporting all students in a variety of ways with particular support for students with disabilities or learning difficulties. Student Services will advise you about the availability of learning or other support services and college facilities. They will refer you to and make appointments for you with our Learning Support team or other specialist services.
LIBRARY & LEARNING RESOURCE CENTRE & FREE WIFI
Find these in the magnificent listed Library room on Level 6 by lift A. You can borrow books, use computers for your course work or just find a quiet place to read or study. Opening hours are on the inside back cover. And anytime you are in the college you can make use of our Free WiFi.
RUSKIN CAFÉ
The college café, on the main corridor, at Level 3 by lift B, serves hot and cold drinks, snacks and home cooked meals. Opening hours are displayed at the café. It is a great place to meet up and talk about your learning.
PRAYER ROOM
You can get details of Prayer Room availability and facilities at local mosques, churches and temples from notices displayed and from Student Services. A new quiet room on Level 1 by Lift B can be used if available.
RUSKIN GALLERY
Exhibitions of art and craft work by students, staff, alumni and visiting artists are regularly organised within the college or elsewhere. See details at www.wmcollege.ac.uk and www.ruskingallery.com and in the WMC.
CONCERTS, END OF YEAR SHOWS, CELEBRATORY EVENTS
Watch out for details of these events and join them as viewer – or performer!
VOLUNTEEER OPPORTUNITIES AND WORK CLUBS
There are growing opportunities for students to get volunteer training and experience and to improve their work prospects, sometimes by work experience.
