Margaret has a business and legal background and is a magistrate. She chairs our Quality and Standards Committee.
Philip brings expertise as a Deputy Principal of an FE College; a senior manager with 33 years experience in adult and further education; his expertise includes funding methodology, learning technologies, financial management and curriculum development.
Kate has a background in policy and research having worked for the national charity One-Parent Families and as a consultant for many other charities. She is a Vice Chair of WMC Corporation.
Severine has just been elected as a Student Governor and is studying Drumkit and also Music Theory.
Lucy de Groot
Lucy brings experience as a current Chief Executive of a major voluntary organization and had previously led a national Local Government organization and been a treasury Civil Servant.She is a Vice Chair of WMC Corporation.
Nigel has been associated with the College for more than 25 years; his family association with WMC stretching over three generations. He is a company director with a background and particular interest in ICT.
Satnam has been Principal of WMC since 1999. He was previously a Vice Principal at Newham 6thForm College. He has seen through the modernization of WMC.
Shingo is our elected Teaching Staff governor. His background is in ICT. He lectures and provides technical ICT support in-house.
Kazi is our elected Administrative Staff Governor. She leads our enrolment team and works closely with the student support team.
David is a practising solicitor with a wide range of high-profile experience; he brings legal and financial expertise and is Chair of our Finance Committee.
Abdul is a retired qualified accountant and is very active in local Camden voluntary organizations. He is a very long-standing Camden Councillor and is currently Mayor of Camden.
Michal is a Student Rep. and has just been elected as a Student Governor; he studies Health and Social care and Spanish.
Tom is Chair of WMC Corporation. He has worked nationally and internationally in adult education. He was Head of the Centre for Educational Research and Innovation, OECD Paris, and has previously been a Professor of Lifelong Learning at London University’s Birkbeck College.
Tulip is a Camden Councillor and Council cabinet member for Culture and Communities. Her professional background spans press and public relations; and she has worked as a parliamentary researcher and policy advisor.
Paula has very extensive experience in FE, having previously been a Deputy Principal at WMC. She is currently Principal of a major London FE College.
