WMC student wins 2012 Adult Learner's Week award

Sheryl Vaughan, a Ceramics learner at the College won the 2012 Adult Learner's Week Individual Regional Award for London

Sheryl said: ‘The choices of education that I have chosen so far have given me the opportunity to find out about myself and my capabilities which I never knew I possessed. I studied Photography, Glass Lampworking and Kiln Formed Glass at WMC. My tutor encouraged me to build a portfolio

of work for application to university.’

What’s next? Sheryl was offered a place at the University of Hertforshire this year to study for a degree in three-dimensional art
