Studios and workshops

Two all purpose base studios have been allocated to the FdA programme. This is available 6 days a week 8.30-20.30 during term time for the exclusive use of Foundation Degree students. They include Mac stations, communal workshop areas, and individual desks.

Students also have access to the 3D Workshop and to WMC Library with dedicated art and design books and computer facilities and. Video Cameras, Projectors, Sound Recording and Mixing can be taken out on loan.

For students wishing to explore other specialist art and design workshops and practices, we offer them access to the student volunteer scheme, where they may partake in a specialist short course as a teacher volunteer assistant as part of their employer engagement experience. Opportunities also exist to work with the Ruskin Gallery curator.
