How To Enrol at WMC
All our courses are available for adults aged 19 and over only.
We can only accept students aged 18 and over on the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, Fashion Foundation and Media Foundation.
SO EASY TO ENROL
First come, first enrolled
It is first come, first enrolled but once a class is full, we will add your name to a waiting list and contact you if a place becomes available.
Enrolment takes places throughout the year but for the new academic year we will be begin from mid-June 2015 as follows:
- Studio courses from 22 June onwards.
- Online from 29 June onwards
- In person from 6 July onwards
Foundation and Foundation Diploma applications will be accepted from January 2016.
There is normally a bigger enrolment session in September (Term 1), December (Term 2) and April (Term 3) and we have allocated specific dates for specific subject areas as follows:
- Enrolment dates for English, Maths and ESOL in September 2015 are Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 September between 09:00-19:30.
- Enrolment dates for Visual Arts in September 2015 are Thursday 10 September between 9:00-19:30 and Friday 11 September between 09:00-17:00.
- If you can't make the above dates, we will also be open on Saturday 12 September between 10:00-15:00.
Term 2 - December:
- 12 - 18 December
STEP 1 Get information
Read the full course description on our website www.wmcollege.ac.uk or in our prospectus. This will help you make sure the course is right for you. It will also make it clear whether you need specialist advice, an interview or an assessment before you areready to enrol.

STEP 2 Enrol
Online www.wmcollege.ac.uk It is the fastest method and available for any course marked 'Enrol' on our web site. Pay the full fee online by credit or debit card. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt within one working day.
By post using the enrolment form which can be downloaded from this page on the right hand side or is available at the College. Please complete it in full and sign Section 11. Send us a cheque (made payable to “Working Men’s College”) for your fee or provide your debit/credit card details on the enrolment form. Please do not post cash.

In person. You can pay your fee by cash, card or cheque. If you are claiming a zero fee, you must enrol in person as you will need to show us evidence of your entitlement.
Please remember to read and sign all parts of the enrolment form including the Data Protection and Privacy Statement plus the Learning Agreement - both statements can be found on the links on the right hand side.
STEP 3 Collect you ID card & Student Hanbook
Once your enrolment is processed, we will take your photo and give you an ID card which you will need to wear at all times when you are in the College. If you enrol online or by phone, you will need to visit the College on or before the date of your first class to collect an ID card. We will also give you access to a Student Handbook which has details of key contacts, college policies & procedures plus a diary and timetable. These may be provided in electronic format.
Congratulations - you are now enrolled!
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse an enrolment, to change fees or cancel courses in response to funding changes and student numbers.
