Sessional Fashion Photographer Teacher

£28.49 Per Hour

 

We are looking for a Sessional Tutor to join our exciting team of Media Tutors to teach Contemporary Portrait and Fashion Photography from September 2017.

 

The right candidate will have extensive knowledge of Fashion Photography from commercial to Haute Couture, street style to designer look/show books, shop window and glossy magazines. Strong technical skills are also required, as is the ability to deliver to a wide range of students at different levels.

This role will be based at our main site in Camden, two minutes’ walk from Mornington Crescent

 

Courses are:

Fashion Photography – Thursdays – 14:00 to 17.00

Contemporary Portrait Photography – Thursdays – 18.00 to 21.00

This role requires the appointed person to undertake an enhanced DBS check

Sessional Digital Media and Film Teacher

(Maternity Cover)

£28.49 Per Hour

10-14 hours

We are looking for an outstanding Media and Film subject specialist with the knowledge and experience to teach our Media courses and the new level 2 certificate in Media. You will know how to deliver and evaluate excellent learning experiences.

Sessional Health and Social Care Teacher

£28.49 Per Hour

You will have experience of working in a teaching and learning environment, a strong background in Social Care and be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 and have considerable experience of teaching and supporting learners at different levels in an adult setting. You will also need to be suitably qualified and able to bring knowledge of delivering the subject to a high standard

Your experience should be recent and relevant. You must have experience in the delivery and assessment of accredited qualifications in the field of social care. It is also essential for you to hold a teaching qualification. You will also participate in quality assurance activities including standardisation meetings

Applicants must be able to teach for 16hours a week from September 2017 on Mondays and Tuesdays (09:30 -15:30) and Fridays (09:30 -16:00hrs)

 

Sessional Frame Making Tutor

£28.49 Per Hour

You will have extensive knowledge of frame making, strong technical skills and the ability to teach a range of processes using different tools and materials at different ability levels

The classes will run every Wednesday evening for 3 hours between September 2017 and July 2018

 

Workplace Assessors/Internal Moderators

 We are seeking qualified Internal Moderators in Hairdressing Beauty, Business and IT, Health and Social Care and Employability Skills from September 2017

 

These roles require the appointed person to undertake an enhanced DBS check

College Services Manager

Full Time 35 hours per week

£37,620 – £41,102 per annum

 

WMC is looking for a manager who can lead our customer facing team through some exciting changes as we seek to continually improve services to our learners.

 

This role will manage and provide direction for the improvement and development of all aspects of student services. This will include managing a team of staff to ensure that the whole enrolment process from first enquiry to the collection of learner enrolment data is efficient and effective and complies with audit, data protection and funding regulations. This role will investigate and resolve learner complaints and co-ordinate customer care initiatives that will enhance and improve the learner experience across the College.

Human Resources Manager

Salary: £38,751 to £42,335 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Human Resources Manager to lead the College’s HR function, providing strategic direction and operational support to staff, department managers, the Executive Management Team and the Board of Governors.

You will have a strong career record covering a range of HR aspects, ideally including some experience in education or another public sector setting and also implementation of HR/Payroll software packages. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of current employment legislation and its practical implications for the College workforce, but be equally comfortable using your professional expertise to design initiatives to develop staff wellbeing and productivity.

The College highly values each member of its staff and recognises their importance to maintaining its success. Reporting directly to the Principal and working with Managers, Governors and recognised trade unions, you will review and develop robust and effective HR policies and practices that reflect these values and deliver the highest standards of service to our learners.
