Database Administrator & Report Writer

Full Time 35 hours per week

£32,788- £35,818 per annum

WMC is looking to recruit a technically minded systems administrator with an excellent eye for detail.

 

The role will require the post holder to take responsibility for the performance, integrity and security of the student records database. The postholder will have a central role in the planning, maintenance and development of the database, as well as troubleshooting and responding to any issues on behalf of the users.

 

Reliable and accurate reports for internal monitoring and quality assurance are the key requirement of the role and candidates should have significant experience of IT, specifically of using databases to record and extract data, preferably with EBS and SQL experience.

£28.78 Per Hour

WMC The Camden College is the oldest surviving adult education institute in Europe and was founded in 1854. Our mission is to provide diverse, enriching and enjoyable lifelong learning, including skills for work, in a supportive environment for adults in Camden and the local area.

We are currently expanding our pool of sessional English teachers and have a current vacancy for an English GCSE evening class.

We are seeking a fully qualified English teacher (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification plus English Subject Specialism), with a proven track record of successfully teaching GCSE English to adults. If you are highly motivated with outstanding teaching skills and a passion for teaching adults, we look forward to hearing from you.

ESOL Tutors

We are currently expanding our pool of sessional ESOL teachers and have a current vacancy for Saturday classes, with the possibility of further hours becoming available evenings or during the week.

We are seeking fully qualified ESOL teachers (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification plus ESOL Subject Specialism), with a proven track record of successfully teaching ESOL to adults from pre-entry levels to Level 2.

We’re looking for a new Chair for WMC, Camden’s Adult College.

 

The WMC has served adult learners for over 160 years. Our mission – to provide diverse, enriching and enjoyable lifelong learning, including skills for work, in a supportive environment for adults in Camden and the local area – is as relevant today as it was when we were founded in 1854. The college has an outstanding Ofsted rating, strong finances, a committed staff body, enthusiastic students, and an experienced board. After 9 successful years, our Chair is now stepping down, and we are looking for a new Chair to lead the college in delivering its mission in today’s fast changing context.

If you have knowledge of adult and further education, experience of governance, and the desire to make a real difference to adult learners in Camden, we would welcome your application.
