Daytime and Evening AutoCAD and Sketch Up Courses

AutoCAD (Beginners)

This course will introduce you to AutoCAD which is an industry standard Computer Aided Design software. You will learn the basics of 2D drafting, annotation, drawing set up and management through several guided projects & set you with the basics to continue your studies or AutoCAD.

AutoCAD Intermediate 2D and Basic 3D (Intermediate)

On this course you will be able to develop your 2D skills in AutoCAD and will be introduced to basic 3D modelling tools, which is the industry standard software Computer Aided Design. You develop your 2D drafting skills by working on more complex projects whilst improving speed, efficiency in using the software and mastering essential professional workflows. You will also be introduced to basic 3D modelling and rendering tools.

AutoCAD Intermediate and Sketchup Basics (Intermediate)

This course builds on the AutoCAD Beginners course and combines two widely used industry standard CAD programmes, AutoCAD and SketchUp. You will be able to develop your AutoCAD 2D drafting skills by working on more complex projects whilst improving speed, efficiency and mastering essential professional workflows. You will also be introduced to SketchUp 3D modelling software and learn basic 3D modelling and rendering tools.

AutoCAD 3D (Intermediate/Advance)

On this course you will be able to consolidate your basic 3d operation in AutoCAD and develop your skills to create more complex 3d models with more sophisticated use of materials, lighting, shadows, external object libraries to create more realistic still renders of your models there may be opportunities to create a short fly-through.

Saturday Introduction to AutoCAD

On this 2 day intensive course you will learn the basics of 2D AutoCAD, which is a widely used industry standard CAD drawing software in Design, Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Product and Furniture Design and similar disciplines. You will learn the basics of 2D drafting, annotating, drawing set up and drawing management through several guided projects. This course is for anyone looking to work or currently working in the Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, Engineering or Construction sectors.

Saturday Sketch Up (Mixed Level)

The course will introduce you to a fantastic 3d modelling tool: Google SketchUp currently used by many industry professionals to visualise their design projects in 3D. The course will introduce you to the SketchUp interface, basic 2d and 3d drawing tools through several guided projects to create 3d models from 2D objects or drawings. It will also cover basic material application, 3d render/ camera tools, working with online libraries and creating scenes for still images or a basic walk through.
