Daytime and Evening Art History and Modern Art Courses
The course enables you to develop life drawing skills and techniques in a studio context alongside studying the way in which certain poses have been portrayed by artists whose work is in the V & A Museum collection.
In addition to your practical work you will be given art historical background information to the life model poses you will be working from.
This course is a very good first step into learning more about the History of Art and basic Painting techniques. You will be taught how to re-create, interpret, discuss and review specific works of Art from key movements and artists within them. Each 5 weeks the course will focus on a different movement in art history so you may start at any time of year with the opportunity to continue learning further.
